Dedicated to the memory of Nora and Arthur Stockham

In loving memory of two wonderful parents, grandparents and great grandparents who were adored by all their family and will forever live on in each and every one of us.9th February 2016 A year ago today at 15:05 you peacefully left us to be reunited with Nora, your beloved wife of 65 years. You made a promise to yourself that you would always look after mum. The care and devotion you gave her was amazing. We only had you for five months after mum died when you decided that you wanted to be with mum and gave up the fight. You were an amazing, loving, knowledgeable, witty and devoted dad and granddad. Hope you are having a flask of tea and packet of Kit Kats? Love and miss you so very much Dad, Love EileenMarch 25th 2016 Today would have been your 66th Wedding Anniversary. As we cannot give you a big bouquet of flowers, we are making a donation to the NSPCC which we know you would like. God bless you both. Your loving family XXXX

Thoughts

Sending you hugs and kisses Dad on what would have been your 100th Birthday. What a celebration we would have had with you. Instead, we had a tea party in your honour. Photographs of you, are hung up in my living room, for us to look at and remember the happy times when you and mum were with us. You now have our darling baby Theodore with you and my darling Maggie. Please take care of them both and tell Theodore we all love and miss him. His mum and dad, Abbie and Sam, are totally heartbroken. So gently put your arm around him and share your Kit Kats with him. Missing you more every day. It doesn't get easier. HAPPY 100th BIRTHDAY DAD All my love Eileen. XXX

Yesterday, Christmas Day, I sat and thought how much my family have grown. This past year we welcomed baby Nancy. I now have eight grandchildren but I would not have any or in fact be here at all, if my darling parents, Nora and Arthur, hadn't met on a Bank Holiday Monday at the fair which had come to Ponrypool Park. We owe so much to the love you both shared. Your beautiful family now consists of the same two children and six grandchildren but you now have nine amazing Great Grandchildren. They all know whom you are and know you are both together up with the stars in the sky, looking and shining down upon us. Leaving flowers at your Sanctum at the Crematorium Christmas Eve, little Willow told me, that at night, you come down from the sky and take the flowers back up with you. Sometimes the colours of the flowers show up in the sky as a Rainbow. Another Christmas without you both but our memories of past Christmas Days and Christmas lunch, are of you both sat with us laughing and joking. We all love and miss you so terribly. It never gets easier for me. Look after Alan whom is also with you. Give him a pint from me dad. All our love, Eileen and all your children! XXXXXXXXxxxxxxxxx
